What we need to do this work card

We often use these cards when helping teams to identify, clarify and design the actions they want to take to help shift practice. It works well as a follow up to the As Is To Be Card, or with the Capability Mapping activities. Or just to help teams identify some concrete actions and directions after discussions about practice. Teams use the cards to identify what kinds of practice changes they want to make. This card helps teams to unpack that further by asking them to think about the outcome (which is perhaps more important than the initial action we have defined and keeps people focused on the “why”). It also prompts teams to think about the kinds of things that might need to be considered (barriers and enablers) to work towards that change. Instead of simply saying “training” (which is a common way organisations seek to enable change) the card provides prompts of different kinds of change interventions that might be relevant.
